I am often asked “Is drinking Alkaline Water is all a person has to do to regain or maintain your health?”
The answer is No! Although it is a GI-NORMOUS first step.
There are a lot of things that influence your health. You could include things like exercise, diet and nutrition, emotional psychological health, spiritual balance, environmental influences etc. All of these are interconnected in their influence on your health.
Yes friends we do have a big challenges! Alkaline Water can help!
Since your body is 70-75% water it makes sense that the logical first step to consider should be drinking a higher quality, healthier water. Changing to an alkaline water can literally change your health. Today this is a no-brainer but 4 1/2 years ago it was a foreign idea to me. It still is for many, many people.
I will give you one other idea that many people should recognize but for some reason overlook. If you are drinking alkaline water to improve your health, maybe you should also consider combining it with an alkaline diet. I mean it makes total sense to get rid of acidic bottled water and replace it with a healthy alkaline water. Right? It should also make equal sense to start combining your efforts with a alkaline diet. Eat less of an acidic diet (meats, dairy, grains, pastas and breads, sugar etc) and more of a healthy alkaline diet (fruits and veggies). Does it not make sense that we should multiply our efforts by eating a diet that is in line with our ultimate goal of Better Health?
According to the University of Michigan Integrative Medicine Dept, water should in fact be the foundation of your diet and I believe it is the foundation of your health.

On top of that foundation of healthy alkaline water you should be eating a diet that helps to nourish, energize and build your body according to its natural laws of health. That diet would be a plant-strong, plant-based alkaline diet. It is a much smarter choice to follow, instead of the traditional Food Pyramid we are all used to, if you are interested in your body running at its optimum level.

This is a simple concept that often gets forgotten, because of the strength of Alkaline Water, but makes absolute common sense. Feed you body with the things that work within its natural rhythm, combine that with other common sense health-conscious activity and you will be surprised what will happen – your health improves!
